By accessing or using siliconscripted.com or trophies.siliconscripted.com (collectively, "the Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Service

Silicon Scripted is the personal website and IT professional identity of Jonathan Witherspoon. The Services include:

  • A professional portfolio
  • A PowerShell scripts showcase
  • A codebase of scripts, code snippets, and technical documentation
  • Platinum Checklists (trophies.siliconscripted.com) — a free browser-based PlayStation trophy checklist tracker

3. Intellectual Property

All content on siliconscripted.com — including text, images, graphics, code, and design — is the property of Jonathan Witherspoon / Silicon Scripted unless otherwise noted.

Code and Scripts: Code snippets and scripts in the Codebase section are provided for educational and reference purposes. You may use, modify, and incorporate these scripts into your own projects, subject to the following conditions:

  • You assume all responsibility for testing and validating scripts before use
  • Attribution is appreciated but not required
  • No warranty is provided (see Section 4)

You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish other content from the Website without express written permission.

4. Codebase Disclaimer — IMPORTANT

⚠️ ALL SCRIPTS, CODE, AND TECHNICAL CONTENT PROVIDED IN THE CODEBASE SECTION ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

By using any code from siliconscripted.com, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Scripts are provided for educational and reference purposes only
  • You assume all risk associated with using, modifying, or implementing any code
  • You are solely responsible for testing code in a non-production environment before deploying to production systems
  • Silicon Scripted is not liable for any damages, data loss, system failures, security breaches, or other issues arising from the use of code from this Website
  • Some scripts interact with critical systems (BitLocker, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, etc.) and improper use may cause serious harm
  • No guarantee is made regarding accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose

5. Platinum Checklists — trophies.siliconscripted.com

Data Storage

Platinum Checklists stores your checklist progress locally in your browser's localStorage. Silicon Scripted does not back up, recover, or guarantee the persistence of locally stored data. You are responsible for exporting your progress if you wish to preserve it.

Google Drive Backup

The optional Google Drive backup feature connects to your personal Google account using OAuth 2.0. By enabling this feature, you authorise Platinum Checklists to create and manage backup files in a dedicated "Platinum Checklists" folder in your Google Drive. You may revoke this authorisation at any time from within the app or directly through your Google Account settings. Silicon Scripted has no access to your Google Drive data. Files created by the app in your Drive are your property and remain there after disconnecting.

Checklist Data Accuracy

Game checklist data — including item names, locations, descriptions, and notes — is sourced from community wikis, player guides, and contributor submissions. Silicon Scripted makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Game content is subject to change by publishers through patches and updates. Silicon Scripted is not affiliated with Sony Interactive Entertainment, PlayStation, or any game publisher or developer whose titles appear in the app.

No Account Required

Platinum Checklists does not require user registration. No account is created on Silicon Scripted servers. The optional Google Drive integration uses your own Google account and is governed by Google's Terms of Service.

7. External Links

The Website contains links to third-party websites including GitHub, LinkedIn, Microsoft, and others. Silicon Scripted is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these external sites.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Silicon Scripted shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website
  • Silicon Scripted shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of code or scripts from the Codebase section
  • In no event shall total liability exceed the amount you paid for access to the Website (which is $0)

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Silicon Scripted and Jonathan Witherspoon from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Website
  • Your use of code from the Codebase section
  • Your violation of these Terms

10. Modifications

Silicon Scripted may update these Terms at any time. The revised terms will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
